Stott Pilates – a contemporary approach to the original Pilates method – for a healthier, leaner body.

Sports-Wide was the first in New Zealand to introduce Stott Pilates (2004) and their fully trained instructors look forward to working with you.

Pilates is a system of gentle muscle strengthening which emphasises balancing strength with flexibility (for injury prevention and more efficient movement).

Stott Pilates includes modern principles of exercise science and spinal rehabilitation, making it one of the safest and effective methods available.

Trained instructors can personalise a Pilates programme to improve your flexibility and strength.

Both individual and semi-supervised reformer Pilates sessions, and mat Pilates session are available.

Pilates benefits can transform your body

Pilates offers many benefits including longer, leaner muscles, core strength and stability, better posture and improved balance and coordination.

Because Pilates is a ‘no impact’ exercise regime, it is easy on the joints and suitable for anyone at any fitness level.

Pilates is the ideal complement to cardiovascular and other weight resistance workouts.
