Class descriptions:
Pump - Resistance workout using all the major muscle groups. Focus on muscle toning and muscular endurance. Light to moderate weights with repetitious movements. All levels. 1 hour. Box-Fit - Functional strength, fitness and stamina. Dynamic, high intensity workout using boxing techniques. No body contact. At least average fitness and strength preferred. 30 mins. Fat burner - A circuit style class utilising hydraulic equipment for burning fat and suitable for any fitness level. 30 mins. Reformer & Mat Pilates - Emphasis on body awareness. Promotes longer, leaner muscles and improves core strength and stability. Better balance, co-ordination and posture. Relief from stress and pain. 40 min – 1 hour (extra cost applies, please enquire at reception for costs). Spin - Spin is a fun class on stationary spin bikes set to music. Because you set the resistance it is suitable for all fitness levels. Spin has zero impact so is very gentle on the body. Zumba - Zumba fuses hypnotic musical rhythms and tantalizing moves to create a dynamic workout system designed to be FUN and EASY TO DO! The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms are combined to tone and sculpt your body burning fat. Add some Latin flavour and International zest into the mix and you've got ZUMBA!
Aqua Fit: A water based exercise class that is enjoyable and fun. It is suitable for all fitness levels and is inclusive with your heath and fitness club membership.
